Sports Performance of the Students During the Year 2014-15

Introduction:

I am privileged to stand before you to present the Annual report of our college sports. As in the previous year’s, our college sportsmen participated in various sports and games. Our college men participated in many Anna University Zonal matches and brought glory to our institution.

Our college sports students are given practice in the evening session every day. We are training students in Athletics, Volley Ball, Hockey, Swimming, Table Tennis, Football, Hand ball, Kho Kho, Kabaddi and we are planning to train Cricket. The following is a brief report of the achievements of our teams and the individual honors won by our students during this academic year.

Sports Achievements:

Hockey:

Our College team participated in Anna University Zone-4 Tournament and bagged the III Place. Dyanchand Hockey Academy organized state level Engineering College Hockey Tournament our college team participated and enter semi-finals.

Volleyball:

Our college team participated in Anna University Zone-4 tournament. Our college team participated in Intercollege state level Volley Ball Tournament organized by SA Engineering College.

Cricket:

Our college team participated in Anna University Zone-4 tournament.

Football:

Our college team participated in Anna University Zone-4 tournament.

Handball:

Our college team participated in Anna University Zone-4 tournament.

KHO-KHO:

Our college team participated in Anna University Zone-4 tournament.

Table Tennis:

Our College team participated in National level Inter Maritime Institutions Tournament organized By AMET University.

Swimming:
