The students are constantly encouraged to participate in co and extra -curricular activities held inside the campus and out of campus. Regular camps are being conducted to involve the students in social activities through NSS, NCC, YRC.
National Cadet Corps (NCC)
The National Cadet Corps (Army Wing) of the College functions under the guidance of Captain Asaithambi. There are presently 70 Cadets with 48 SD and 22 SW cadets.

Mr. Kumaresan coordinates the activities of the Youth Red Cross. Membership is open to both undergraduates and post graduates. About a hundred undergraduates serve as volunteers. The YRC of the College functions under the Coordinator for YRC TN Branch and organizes activities in association with the NSS and the NCC.
